- Monero remote nodes were temporarily overloaded due to ‘dozens of large 150-input transactions’ (3)
- Rucknium: ‘raising the ring size is a more cost-effective strategy against a black marble attack than raising fees’ (4)
- HardenedSteel and retoaccess1 were first to experiment with public Haveno networks on Monero’s mainnet (5)

- There were 5 Monero Research Lab meetings in May (7,8,10,11,12)

- 0xFFFC completed their first Monero dev work CCS proposal (21)
- Justin Berman completed his CCS after 480 hours of Monero and Seraphis dev work and posted a progress report for his new proposal (22,23)
- Haveno versions 1.0.3-1.0.6 were released with improved trade protocol ‘resilience’, fixes and improvements (24,25,26)
- Cake Labs released multiple Cake Wallet/Monero.com versions with support for Ledger and also a Windows 10/11 beta build starting with 4.18.0 (27,28,29,30)
- hinto-janai released Gupax v1.3.7/1.3.8 with bugfixes and remote node changes (31,32)
- jeffro256 posted a Monero/Seraphis dev report for April 2024 (33)
- MrCyjaneK posted the first progress report for their Unnamed Monero Wallet CCS proposal (34)
- Stack Wallet exited beta with the v2.0.0 release after ~1.6 years of development (35)
- BrandyJSon started working on a Feather Wallet fork with built-in COMIT XMR-BTC atomic swaps (36)
- Cyrix126 released Gupaxx v1.1.1 with fixes and updates (37)
- woodser released monero-java v0.8.27 (38)

- selsta submitted a CCS proposal for 3 months of Monero dev work until the end of July 2024, which was fully funded (40,41)
- Justin Berman submitted a new CCS proposal for 3 months of Monero and Seraphis dev work, which was fully funded (42,43)
- eyedeekay submitted a CCS proposal to ‘redesign and modernize’ Monero I2P support (44)
- hinto-janai submitted a CCS proposal to continue working full-time on Cuprate for 3 months, which was fully funded (45,46)
- ofrnxmr submitted a new CCS proposal to ‘empower and steward BasicSwapDex to production quality software’ (47)
- v1docq47 submitted a CCS proposal for 6 months of Russian voice-over and transcription work, which was moved to the funding stage (48,49)
- baldeagle submitted a CCS proposal to ‘create and manage’ a Matrix room for P2P XMR trading (50)
