hbs submits CCS proposal for EVM-based Monero atomic swaps dev work
hbs1 has submitted a CCS proposal2 looking to continue working on EVM-Monero atomic swaps3, develop a MoneroSwap4-compatible dApp and implement an automated swap manager:
During the first half of 2025 I worked on re-implementing a smart contract for doing atomic swaps between Monero and the native currency of EVM blockchains. [..] This proposal aims at providing the software pieces needed to make EVM-Monero atomic swaps even easier to use. This includes a dApp to be able to view, create and manage atomic swaps using a simple Web browser with an EIP-1193 compatible wallet such as Metamask, and a utility to optionally complete swaps automatically for the user.
Total funding goal: 288 XMR
ETA: <14 months.
Milestones overview
- M1: Initial view only dApp (96 XMR)
- M2: Swap creation and management (96 XMR)
- M3: Automated swaps (96 XMR)
hbs is an established MoneroKon5 organizer with various contributions6 to Monero ecosystem and other open source projects.
