Boog900 posts first progress report for Cuprate CCS proposal

Boog9001 has posted the first progress report2 for their latest CCS proposal3 to continue full-time development work on the Cuprate4 project:

With the initial blockchain manager cuprated can sync the chain, shutdown and restart without needing to resync, I have completed a full sync. My immediate next plans are to continue my work on adding alt-blocks to the DB which should hopefully be ready soon, then I will add reorgs to the blockchain manager.

Progress overview

Added alt-block handling to our consensus crates
Started work on the transaction pool
Updated the codebase to the new monero-serai (soon to be monero-oxide) API
Created an initial structure for cuprated
Started work on the blockchain manager in branch cuprated-blockchain
Opened a WIP PR for adding alt-block storage to our blockchain database
