vtnerd posts CCS progress report after 160 hours of dev work
vtnerd1 has published the first progress report2 for his full-time Q3 2024 Monero dev work CCS proposal3:
The bulk of the time was spent on Socks v5 support in the Monero daemon and wallet. Both now support IPv4+IPv6+Hostnames over Socks v5, and both basic support username+password authentication.
Work overview
* Socks v5 support in the Monero daemon and wallet
* continued work on a LWS frontend
* code reviews in Monero core repo
* added JSON schemas for ZMQ-PUB to the monero core documentation
* spent a small amount of time pulling in LMDB bug fixes for LWS [..]
