THORChain 'a few weeks' away from complete Monero integration

THORChain¹ has announced² the release of a major protocol update (v3.20³) that should progressively prepare the DEX for full XMR activation in the next few weeks:

The foundations for XMR support landed in v3.19, but integrating a privacy chain like Monero requires very different infrastructure from THORChain’s existing chains. [..] As with any new launch, the integration will be rolled out progressively as liquidity grows, allowing node operators to test and monitor the new signing infrastructure, a process that generally takes a few weeks.

It is worth noting that THORChain co-founder jpthor has previously submitted a CCS proposal for XMR integration last year which failed to secure community support⁴.
