silverpill submits CCS proposal to migrate 'monero-rs' pacakges to 'monero-oxide'
silverpill1 has submitted their first ever CCS proposal2 looking to migrate monero-rs3 packages to monero-oxide4, within one month:
This proposal is focused on a single task: migration of monero-rs packages to monero-oxide. [..] Deprecation of monero and migration to monero-oxide will eliminate the split in the ecosystem, increase the adoption of monero-oxide, and help users of monero-rs packages migrate to a better maintained library.
Total funding proposed: 2.96 XMR.
ETA: ~1 month.
It is worth noting that silverpill is the co-maintainer of the monero-rpc5 Rust library and the developer of federated micro-blogging platform Mitra6.
