selsta posts April 2022 dev update and submits new CCS proposal for 3 more months of Monero dev work until July
selsta1 has posted his monthly CCS progress report for April 20222 and submitted a new CCS proposal3 to continue working part-time on Monero development for 3 more months, until the end of July:
Work for 30 hours per week over the next 3 months (from May to end of July) [..]
Total funding needed: 75 XMR (EUR 45/hr * 30 hrs/week * 3 months).
ETA: end of July 2022 (3 milestones).
He plans to focus on preparing the next network update, testing and reviewing PR’s, Monero release engineering for CLI and GUI and other smaller dev work on the CLI and GUI.
selsta has contributed over 525 merged commits to both the CLI4 and GUI5 codebases since 2018.
April 2022 dev update
- Made progress on the Windows close bug
- Prepared v0.17.3.2 together with Ledger Nano S+ support, together with v0.18 preparations
- Spent some hours on issue tracker cleanup again
- CMake, Docker and dependency updates for the GUI
