pivacy releases 'Custardy-XMR' Raspberry Pi Zero W appliance for generating and verifying Monero wallets
pivacy1 has announced2 the release of Custardy-XMR3 version 1.0.04 - an offline, non-persistent appliance that can generate and verify Monero seeds on Raspberry Pi Zero W5:
[..] the project got way more serious than the little weekend paper-wallet generator I originally intended to make, so figured why not clean up the codebase and release it as others might find it helpful, useful or interesting to dig into. [..] I’d absolutely love any and all feedback!
Consult the GitHub repository3 for usage instructions.
It is worth mentioning that the project cannot be treated as open-source as a project-wide license has yet to be selected6.
To support further development of Custardy-XMR, transfer any amount of XMR to the project’s donation address7.
Note: review the source, security documentation, build inputs, verification results, and hardware limitations before relying on Custardy-XMR to protect funds.
This is an ongoing story and the report will be updated when new information is available.
