P2Pool celebrates 5th anniversary today

P2Pool1 - Monero community’s preferred decentralized pool - is celebrating its 5-year anniversary today2:

Today is 5 years since P2Pool mined its first block on mainnet - the first Monero block found by P2Pool was 2437679 on August 29th, 2021. Let’s celebrate it by mining on P2Pool and finding some more blocks!

Project maintainer SChernykh has shared some hints about the v5.0 release which should bring support for the upcoming Monero FCMP++/Carrot network upgrade and for 0-fee transactions3.
