KuCoin temporarily suspends XMR deposits and withdrawals due to 'node maintenance'

KuCoin¹ has announced² the temporary suspension of deposit and withdrawal services for Monero due to node maintenance:

[..] for the safety of your account and assets, we have decided to suspend the deposit and withdrawal services for Monero (XMR).

The news coincides with KuCoin’s KYC verification system upgrade notice³.

In terms of spot volume, KuCoin is the #2 XMR CEX after Binance.
