jeffro2561 has posted the second progress report (M2/January 2024)2 for their Monero dev work CCS proposal3:
[..] About half of my time (~2 weeks) was spent writing PR 9135. The changes are somewhat complex but should allow for faster node syncing, less disk usage, and future improvements like multi-threaded RingCT input verification.4
