Gingeropolous submits CCS proposal for Monerosim R&D and MRC hardware maintenance
Gingeropolous1 has submitted a new CCS proposal2 looking to continue research and development work on network simulation tool Monerosim3 and also maintain and improve the Monero Research Computing cluster4:
We have a functioning monero simulation tool, and hardware to run massive simulations. Now the task is to use it and improve it. [..] As additional items / milestones, the MRC needs some maintenance and improvements.
Total funding: 53.6 XMR.
ETA: ~6-8 months (TBD).
Milestones
- M1: Hardware tranche 0 (3.5 XMR)
- M2: Hardware tranche 1 (6.7 XMR)
- M3: Monerosim continued development and research (43.4 XMR)
It is worth noting that Gingeropolous has recently completed the first Monerosim CCS5.
