Francois Villon submits CCS proposal to develop Monero plugin for Shopify

Francois Villon¹ has submitted their first CCS proposal² looking to develop a non-custodial Monero payment gateway plugin for Shopify³:

The plugin will allow Shopify merchants to accept XMR directly into their own wallets without intermediaries, KYC, or custodial risk – enabling true peer-to-peer e-commerce. [..] The plugin will be developed as a Shopify App using the Shopify Payments API, interfacing with a local or remote Monero wallet RPC.

Total funding: 120 XMR (420 hours)

ETA: ~13 weeks (Nov 10 2026)

The proposer is a full-stack developer that has apparently built the Speedingfile⁴ platform and manages the Berndpulch⁵ project.
