binarybaron posts second progress report for XMR-BTC atomic swaps ecosystem CCS proposal

binarybaron¹ and einliterflashche² have posted a second progress report³ for their CCS proposal to continue XMR-BTC atomic swaps⁴ development and help transform the ecosystem from a prototype into a mature marketplace⁵:

This month we completed the networking upgrade, made lots of usability improvements to the GUI, began natively integrating Tor and released the first release candidate of the new app. [..] In total, we made 99 commits, and merged 56 pull requests⁶.

Work overview

Core:
- Released a major network upgrade from libp2p
- Increased the refund window from 12 to 24 hours
- Tor is now natively integrated into the app
WiP:
- Complete the Tor integration
- Upgrade of our dependency on the bitcoin dev kit
GUI:
- We implemented an auto updater which uses PGP signature for verification
- Released the first release candidate 1.0.0-rc of our new app [..]
