binarybaron posts fourth progress report for XMR-BTC atomic swaps ecosystem CCS

binarybaron1 and einliterflashche2 have posted a fourth progress report3 for their CCS proposal to continue XMR-BTC atomic swaps4 development and help transform the ecosystem from a prototype into a mature marketplace5:

Since our last report we made a lot of progress laying the groundwork for mobile apps. [..] Together, these upgrades account for more than 10,000 changed lines. [..] Liquidity keeps trending up: offers > 6.5 BTC in total, with some makers seeing > 1 BTC/day volume.

Work overview

* built the first Rust library moner-sys for native bindings to Monero
* upgraded our BDK (Bitcoin Dev Kit) dependency
* Introduce user to some core concepts at first startup
* Thread-safety for Monero wallet RPC
* Improve Tails/Whonix support
* Integrated-address support
