binarybaron completes XMR-BTC atomic swaps ecosystem CCS

binarybaron¹ and einliterflashche² have posted a sixth (and final) progress report³ for their CCS proposal to continue XMR-BTC atomic swaps⁴ development and help transform the ecosystem from a prototype into a mature marketplace⁵:

The eigenwallet GUI is now usable as a fully functional Monero wallet. Our goal is to reach feature parity with Feather Walllet eventually. [..] I’m tremendously grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the ecosystem, and I’m hopeful that we can make a positive impact on the future of Monero. [..] We will continue working on the project even after the CCS expires.

Work overview

* Bitcoin fee estimations are now cached for up to two minutes
* Improved retry logic for the publication of Monero transaction
* Load balance RPC requests over multiple remote nodes
* Removed monero-wallet-rpc completely
* Atomic Swaps are now tied to specific Monero wallets
* Allow changing the Monero node without restarting the wallet
